New year, new app!

For the past few months, we've been working hard to create a new and better version of the Planet Wild app. Our goal was to enhance your experience, making your journey into the wild even more immersive, engaging, and personalized. Today, it’s finally ready for you to enjoy! Here’s a peek at the most important changes:

📰 A personalized feed

At the center of this new version is a new, personalized feed that reflects your relationship with Planet Wild. It will show your personal impact through our monthly missions over time and celebrate your individual milestones. We have plenty of ideas how to make it even more useful and valuable for you over time 🙌

🗺️ A new mission map

Since our launch nearly one year ago, we’ve funded 11 fantastic rewilding initiatives, including our first three missions outside of Europe. The new Mission Tab makes use of a full screen map to give you a great overview of our global ambition to rewilding the planet. Our team of engineers worked hard to build a smooth experience that allows you to effortlessly swipe from one destination to another. From there, you can also check out the mission reports and soon our first annual mission updates. 

‍🎉 Hype & confetti

The monthly mission launch is the highlight for every Planet Wild supporter. So, now, every time you open our app, you’ll be greeted with a beautiful countdown, so that you can get excited for that new mission to drop. Immerse yourself in the beauty of nature through video backgrounds that reflect the awe-inspiring landscapes and wildlife we aim to protect and celebrate. And then, on the 15th of every month, the app will celebrate the new mission and your personal involvement with loads of sustainable, digital confetti! 🎊

As we step into the future, Planet Wild remains committed to our mission of rewilding the planet. The new and improved Planet Wild app is a little treat for our amazing and committed members. A huge shoutout goes out to our entire engineering team, who made this upgrade happen on both iOS and Android, as well as to our amazing community! Your feedback from the last few months was incredible and we hope to reflect that with the new version of our app.
